I love repurposing everyday items. My husband can attest to the 100 wine bottles in our attic that I swear one day I’m going to turn into lovely drinking glasses or flower vases…one day. Vases can come in all shapes and sizes though. I’ve used everything from old candles to salsa jars. Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to turn that old candle jar into a beautiful new little flower vase for small spaces.
1. Wait until the candle is burned down as far as possible, then pop it in the freezer overnight.
2. Using a spoon or dinner knife simply scrape the wax remnants out. They should pop out super easy.
3. Then use the rougher side of a sponge to clean out the rest. Voila, new flower vase!!
Super simple and a great way to display those pretty jars you’re not ready to part with yet.
